PJI Aims and Scope

Researchers, academics, and professionals in the immunology field are all welcome to submit their work to our journal. As we encourage international collaboration and discussion, you can submit your research no matter where you are in the world. 

Can I access articles for free?

Yes, PJI is an open-access journal, meaning all published articles are available for free to readers across the world. 

Can I submit an article that has been published elsewhere?

PJI only accepts original research that has not been published or simultaneously submitted elsewhere. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to our Ethical Policies and is an original piece of work. 

Is there a submission fee?

No, you will not be charged just to submit your manuscript for review. However, there are fees for publishing an accepted article, but these fees do not influence whether an article is accepted or rejected. 

How long does it take to publish in PJI?

Though the time it takes for each manuscript to go from submission to publication varies on a case-by-case basis, we strive for a quick, transparent, and efficient process, aided by our eWorkflow system. The peer-review process typically takes between a few weeks to a few months (depending on the complexity of the research and the reviewer availability), but we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
